BOX 15 x 20

a small residential dwelling on a plot measuring just 15' roadside and 20' in the other direction. the lane in front is just about 8' wide. with the requirement for having 2 separate single bedroom units and literally just the front side available for getting in maximum light into the interior spaces. since the front facade is facing south, too much glazing has been avoided. a small shaft has been provided at the rear side for ventilating the bedroom as well as the toilet. to add to the technical, climate responsive design the client demands to satisfy the basic vastu principles in the zoning of the various spaces of the house and their orientation. with a little more struggle and effort all the requirements and demands of the client were fulfilled. the level of satisfaction a client gets shows how successful the project is. both being directly proportional ;)
