PENTRACK

pentrack - digital colour prepress
located in sultanpet, the centre of bangalore city, finding spacious office space is close to impossible. this one is a digital prepress office that house expensive & sensitive machines. the office space not more than 300 sqft had to accommodate two front office tables, 6 workstations, an air-conditioned room for the printers, visitor's seating area & finally huge storage space. the office had to be completely redone for the simple reason that modular or bought out furniture wouldn't have met their requirements. a combination of yellow & blue laminates is used. vinyl flooring with a combination of white & blue to brighten up the spaces.

NL BEDROOM INTERIOR

this is one of the 1st interior project way back in 2003. a very linear bedroom of about 10' width & 18' length. the issue in this room was that there was just one switch board unit near the door & the client wasn't too keen on chasing the walls for new wiring to be done. the alternative solution was that the pelmet over the wardrobe was continued all along the walls within which the new wiring was down & dropped down at strategic points where required. at the corner two tables at different heights are provided instead of just one single L-shaped table so that it feels lighter & doesn't seem like a bulky corner table.

OFFICE INTERIOR

office interiors for mr. b l agarwal
this office of advocate b l agarwal is located close to surajkund, NCR. with an area of approx. 700 sqft, the office consists of a reception area, visitors waiting area, six work stations, panty, meeting room for 6-8 people and the managing directors cabin with a personal coffee area to entertain his guests. design being contemporary & minimalistic with just the play of colors and form. flooring is a mix of vitrified tiles & wood forming a curved element defining the circulation path within the office space. the false ceiling too follows the same pattern above. primary colors like red and yellow are used to bring in life into the space along with black & white. each & every piece of furniture, be it tables, sofa's storage cabinets etc were custom made to suit the space & design.

RR BEDROOM INTERIOR

this bedroom is for mrs. rekha. her reqt of large wardrobe space and in addition to that storage space for other stuff within a room size of about 12'6" x 12', thats not all... there's an attached toilet to this room and she wanted the door to be hidden away so that it wudnt be seen as soon as the person enters the room. the location of the windows in a way restricted us in having a single long wardrobe. a reading area also was to be provided, as it was her hobby. wat u see in the image above is that the lover portion of the wardrobe extends in front of the window becoming the reading area above which are shelves of glass to stack books, artifacts etc. at the end we have the dressing area, and when one wanted to use could pull out the light weight stool from under the adjacent reading area. in order to have a visual barrier in front of the door, a vertical element is provided along side the bed. this vertical element has a couple of shelves towards the toilet door.
