YOU CAN PLAN

this one is a competition entry held by "YOU CAN PLAN", UK. the brief was to design a sustainable house with minimum energy consumption of energy. for eg: reduction in energy consumption for air conditioning and heating of the interior spaces. a design that would be modular to the maximum extent so that the owner could add, remove, expand & reduce based on their requirements. solar panels are used extensively. a water body below the living area adds to the aesthetics as well as functions to cool the surrounding spaces. a wooden deck at the rear side of the house gives the family to have a quite and cool outdoor space.

Out of the 38 finalists all over the world, our entry stood at the 13th position.
